Driver's License
Provincial exchange, winter tires mandatory, the G1/G2/G system
Summary
Driver's licenses in Canada are managed by each province. The Netherlands has an exchange agreement with most provinces, allowing you to exchange your Dutch license without exams. In Ontario, you normally go through the graduated system (G1โG2โG), but with a Dutch license and minimum 2 years' experience, you can get a full G license directly. Winter tires are mandatory in Quebec and British Columbia.
